With the growing market demand for high-performance antioxidants, the research and development of novel emulsion antioxidants has become a key focus of industry innovation. Emulsion antioxidants are mainly used in polymer emulsion systems with water as the dispersion medium, such as in the fields of nitrile rubber latex, styrene-butadiene rubber latex, and related latex products. Traditional antioxidants are difficult to effectively disperse in these systems, while novel emulsion antioxidants, through technological innovation, have achieved highly efficient dispersion at the micro-nano scale, significantly improving the antioxidant effect.


Novel emulsion antioxidants have many advantages. They have high solid content, which can impart long-lasting thermal stability and good processing stability to the material; a narrow particle size distribution, resulting in high emulsion stability, ensuring stable performance during storage and use; moderate viscosity, facilitating easy pumping and addition, and good water compatibility, facilitating uniform mixing during production. For example, the micro-nano emulsion antioxidants developed by some companies significantly improve the antioxidant performance of ABS resin,

effectively improving not only the yellowing problem of ABS products during production and storage, but also enhancing their high-temperature resistance and secondary processing performance, providing strong support for the upgrading of product quality in related industries.
